In the wake of the 2014 NBA Draft Lottery, the Orlando Magic announced Wednesday a new Draft-related contest wherein eligible entrants can win a $100,000 prize. To get the grand prize, fans must accurately guess the first 14 players to be selected in the 2014 NBA Draft, regardless of trades. To be eligible, entrants must live within 75 miles of Orlando and be at least 18 years old.
If more than one entrant gets the order correct, then the Magic will split evenly the prize money. If no one guesses correctly, Orlando will choose one entrant at random to win a pair of season tickets for the 2014/15 campaign.
For complete details on the contest, which runs through June 22nd at midnight, please visit www.OrlandoMagic.com/draftcontest. The contest's rules are available to view at www.OrlandoMagic.com/draftcontestrules.
As they say in showbusiness: but wait, there's more. The Magic also announced Wednesday a Draft Watch Party, which event they'll host at Amway Center on Thursday, June 26th, the night of the Draft. The event is free and open to the public. It'll feature visits from Stuff, the Magic Dancers, and community ambassadors Nick Anderson and Bo Outlaw.
Admission is free. Download your free tickets to this night of fun by visiting OrlandoMagic.com/draftparty.
