Orlando Magic Hall of Fame: Inductees to be named Wednesday

The Orlando Magic announced Monday that they will reveal the names of its first two Hall of Fame members during a noon press conference Wednesday, April 9th. Alex Martins, the team's CEO, will make the announcement at Amway Center.

Before its 25th anniversary season began, Orlando announced plans to create its own Hall of Fame. Those plans will come into sharper focus during Wednesday's official announcement.

"The Orlando Magic Hall of Fame will honor former players, coaches, executives, and people who have been instrumental in the history of the Orlando Magic organization with a special commemoration on the main concourse--the terrace concourse--of the Amway Center," said Martins at that first November news conference announcing the Hall of Fame's inception.
