The Orlando Magic's homestand continues Sunday with yet another playoff team, the Toronto Raptors, visiting Amway Center. Since returning from a four-game roadtrip, the Magic have hosted and defeated the likely playoff-bound Portland Trail Blazers and Charlotte Bobcats.
Tipoff between Orlando and Toronto is set for 6:00 PM Eastern on Fox Sports Florida and ESPN 580 AM in Orlando. The Orlando Pinstriped Post GameThread will appear at 4:00 PM in this StoryStream and on the cover.
Orlando's last time out: The Magic picked up an impressive win Friday against the Bobcats, coming back from 16 points down to pull off the win in overtime. Arron Afflalo played the hero by making the OT-forcing trey, but Nik Vučević stod out the most: the third-year center scored 24 points, grabbed 23 rebounds, and played excellent defense against Al Jefferson down the stretch.
Toronto's last time out: The Raptors clinched the postseason Friday with a dramatic victory against the Boston Celtics. Amir Johnson tipped in a Kyle Lowry miss with seven seconds remaining to break a 103-all tie, and Jared Sullinger's winning three-point try missed the mark at the buzzer. All-Star swingman DeMar DeRozan scored a game-best 30 points for Toronto.
The last meeting: On February 23rd, the Raptors walloped the Magic, 105-90, in Toronto behind 28 points from Lowry and another 24 from DeRozan. Despite the loss, Tobias Harris tallied 28 points on 10-of-15 shooting for Orlando, which shot just 41.4 percent from the floor.
