Orlando Magic point guard Jameer Nelson will not play Sunday against the Los Angeles Lakers, reports Josh Robbins of the Orlando Sentinel, marking the third straight game the Magic's all-time assist leader will have missed due to a sore left knee.
Nelson has averaged 12.2 points, 3.4 boards, and 6.9 assists in his 61 appearances. In the Magic's previous game against the Lakers, a 114-105 victory, Nelson scored 22 points on 7-of-11 shooting in one of his finest performances of the 2013/14 season, so Orlando may miss him against L.A.
Victor Oladipo will once again start for Nelson. Saturday against the Utah Jazz, Oladipo scored a team-high 19 points on 5-of-14 shooting to go with six rebounds and four assists.
