The Orlando Magic announced Sunday that starting point guard Jameer Nelson will miss their game against the Philadelphia 76ers due to a sore calf. In Nelson's place, Ronnie Price will pick up his first start of the season. Price did not play in any of Orlando's 12 February games. In 21 appearances with the Magic, Price has averaged 1.9 points, 1.5 rebounds, and 1.3 assists on 32.6 percent shooting.

Price will start alongside Victor Oladipo in the Magic's backcourt on Sunday. Maurice Harkless, Tobias Harris, and Nik Vučević will start on the front line together for the fifth consecutive game.

Price last started a game on February 14th, 2012, as a member of the Phoenix Suns. He tallied 10 points, three boards, six assists, two steals, and five turnovers in a 109-92 loss to the Dallas Mavericks.

Nelson joins starting small forward Arron Afflalo, the team's leading scorer, on the proverbial shelf for Sunday's matchup against Philly, which has lost 13 straight games.
