The Orlando Magic face "no urgency" with regard to possibly trading Arron Afflalo before the NBA trade deadline on February 20th, reports Sam Amick of USA Today, because the seventh-year swingman has established his value to such a degree that it won't fluctuate.

If the Magic do decide to part with Afflalo, they'll want "a proven player who could help speed up their rebuilding efforts" in return, according to Amick. Since the start of its post-Dwight Howard rebuild, no team has a worse overall record than Orlando does, so it's easy to understand why the Magic might be willing to deal Afflalo for proven help.

On Wednesday, Steve Kyler of Basketball Insiders reported that the Magic might not make any trade-deadline deals. Given that Afflalo has established his market value, it behooves Orlando to wait for the very best offer, whether it arrives before the trade deadline or sometime in the offseason.

Afflalo is averaging 19.8 points, 4.2 rebounds, and 3.7 assists on 58.3 percent True Shooting in his second season with the Magic.
