Orlando's last time out: The Magic blitzed the Detroit Pistons, 112-98, on Wednesday behind several stellar performances from its key players. Victor Oladipo scored a team-high 20 points off the bench, and Maurice Harkless contributed 15 points and nine rebounds in reserve as well.
Oklahoma City's last time out: The Thunder topped the Minnesota Timberwolves on Wednesday by a 106-97 final. Kevin Durant, the league's leading MVP candidate, nearly recorded a triple-double with 26 points, nine boards, and seven assists. Reggie Jackson added 20 points and nine assists as OKC shot 48.4 percent from the floor.
The last meeting: On December 15th, the Thunder weathered a late Magic rally to earn a 101-98 victory. OKC owned a 12-point lead with 3:09 to play before Orlando used a 10-0 run to get to within striking distance. Durant made a foul shot to give the Thunder a three-point lead, and then the hosts shut down the Magic on their final possession. Arron Afflalo scored 25 for the Magic in defeat.
