The NBA is once again offering its fans the opportunity to vote for the starting lineups in the Rising Stars Challenge at All-Star Weekend, set for February 14th at 9 PM Eastern. Orlando Magic rookie Victor Oladipo will take part in Rising Stars, and fans who want him to start for Team Webber can vote for him to do so by visiting www.nba.com/BBVACompassRisingStarsSweeps from February 6th-13th.
Once there, fans can pick three frontcourt players and two backcourt players to start for Team Webber and Team Hill. Oladipo is one of four backcourt options for his squad; the others are Trey Burke of the Utah Jazz, Michael Carter-Williams of the Philadelphia 76ers, and Tim Hardaway Jr. of the New York Knicks. All four are rookies.
Oladipo is averaging 13.8 points, 4.4 rebounds, 3.2 assists, and 1.6 steals in his rookie season out of Indiana. He's earned the Eastern Conference Rookie of the Month award for his performance in December.
