The Orlando Magic will sign former Philadelphia 76ers center Dewayne Dedmon to a 10-day contract on Monday, reports Marc J. Spears of Yahoo! Sports. He and Adonis Thomas, who will also reportedly sign Monday, will help fill out Orlando's roster in the wake of Glen Davis buyout..
Dedmon ought to be available for the Magic's game against the Washington Wizards on Tuesday.
Dedmon has 15 games of NBA experience, split between the Golden State Warriors and Philadelphia 76ers. He's averaged 2.5 points, 2.5 rebounds, and 0.6 blocks in 10.4 minutes at the NBA level.
In two seasons at USC, Dedmon averaged 7.1 points, 6.4 rebounds, and 1.7 blocks on 52 percent shooting from the floor.
