NBA All-Star Saturday Night 2014 open thread

NBA All-Star Saturday Night begins at 8:30 PM Eastern on TNT. Consider this space a place to comment live on the action as it happens.

Saturday's events are, in chronological order, the Shooting Stars competition, the Skills Challenge, the Three-Point Contest, and the Slam Dunk. A complete look at the 2014 NBA All-Star Saturday Night schedule is available here.

The Orlando Magic have two representatives in the All-Star Saturday festivities: Victor Oladipo teams with Michael Carter-Williams in the Skills Challenge. Just after that event, Arron Afflalo will test his outside marksmanship in the Three-Point Contest.

Oladipo's first All-Star Weekend began Friday in the Rising Stars Challenge, in which exhibition he scored 13 points and made several highlight plays.

Oladipo is hardly the busiest player at All-Star Weekend: that'd be Portland Trail Blazers point guard Damian Lillard, who is taking part in five events.
