Tuesday afternoon, the oddsmakers at Bovada.LV released odds for the Three-Point Contest at NBA All-Star Weekend 2014, and they're kinder to Orlando Magic swingman Arron Afflalo than Sportsbook.com's, which that site released over the weekend.
According to Bovada, Afflalo has 5-1 odds to win the Three-Point Contest, trailing only Golden State Warriors point guard Stephen Curry (2-1) and Minnesota Timberwolves power forward Kevin Love (4-1). Cleveland Cavaliers point guard Kyrie Irving, the defending Three-Point Contest champion, owns 11-2 odds.
Afflalo is shooting 42.9 percent from three-point range in his second season with the Magic, averaging 1.9 triples per game. He joins Victor Oladipo among Orlando players competing on All-Star Saturday; the rookie guard will take part in the Skills Challenge.
The Three-Point Contest is part of All-Star Saturday Night. TNT's coverage of the event kicks off on February 15th at 8 PM Eastern, with the shooting exhibition serving as the penultimate competition of the night.
