The Orlando Magic concluded their longest roadtrip of the season with a 3-3 record Saturday with a 105-96 win over the Sacramento Kings, finishing the week 2-2. But that performance wasn't enough to merit a boost in Drew Garrison's NBA power rankings for SB Nation. Garrison dropped Orlando one spot, to 22nd overall.
"Orlando went 2-2, losing the games they should have (Clippers, Warriors) and winning the games they should have (Jazz, Cousins-less Kings)," says Garrison. "They've been consistent all season, but the mark they're hitting is a below-average one."
It's the second consecutive week the Magic have dropped in SB Nation's power rankings; their high mark on the season is 18th.
Given their coming schedule, with three games against theWashington Wizards and Atlanta Hawks, two Southeast powerhouses, the Magic could be in line for another slip next Monday.
