Following an ejection for a flagrant two foul on Los Angeles Clippers superstar Blake Griffin on Wednesday, the NBA fined Orlando Magic big man Kyle O`Quinn $15,000 fine, it announced Thursday. O`Quinn, who was starting in place of the injured Nikola Vucevic, was ejected in the second quarter after making contact above Griffin's shoulders. If you haven't seen the foul, you can watch it here.
The ejection was the first of O`Quinn's three-year career. He will not be suspended, and will be available for the team when they travel to Utah to take on the Utah Jazz on Friday night.
O`Quinn, who missed 15 games with a sprained ankle, could be in line for his fourth start of the season, should Vucevic be forced to sit with back spasms once again. Vucevic is currently listed a questionable for Friday's tilt against the Jazz, the Magic's penultimate game on a six-game trip out West.
