Magic vs. Pistons: Orlando wraps 2014

The Orlando Magic close out 2014 on Tuesday against Stan Van Gundy and the Detroit Pistons at Amway Center.

Tipoff between Orlando and Detroit is set for 7:00 PM. Fox Sports Florida and ESPN 580 AM will offer live coverage in the Orlando market.

Orlando's last time out: The Magic squeaked past the Miami Heat on Monday, 102-101, with Victor Oladipo splitting a pair of free throws with 6.6 seconds remaining to provide the final margin. Orlando scored the final five points of the game to defeat their in-state rivals for the first time since March 13th, 2012.

Detroit's last time out: The Pistons routed the Cleveland Cavaliers on Sunday, 103-80, on the road. Brandon Jennings tallied 25 points, five boards, and six assists, while Andre Drummond dominated the paint with 16 points, 17 rebounds, and five blocked shots. The Pistons limited the Cavs to 37.8 percent shooting, including 17.2 percent on three-pointers.

The last meeting: The Magic blasted the Pistons by a 107-93 final on November 17th, with Nikola Vucevic and Tobias Harris combining for an efficient 49 points to lead the way. Great ball movement helped contribute to the victory, with the Magic recording assists on 33 of their 41 baskets.
