The Orlando Magic announced Friday they've assigned Devyn Marble to the Erie BayHawks of the NBA D-League.

Marble, whose rights the Magic acquired from the Denver Nuggets the night of the 2014 NBA Draft, has made five appearances in his rookie season, logging five minutes. In four seasons at Iowa, the 6-foot-6 swingman averaged 12.5 points, 3.4 rebounds, and 3.6 assists per game on 44.7 percent shooting. As a member of the Magic's 2014 Orlando Pro Summer League squad, Marble posted per-game averages of 9.4 points and 6.2 rebounds while shooting 37.2 percent from the field.

Marble is set to make his Erie début Saturday against the Bakersfield Jam. Tip time is set for 7:00 PM Eastern. The game will be available to stream live via the D-League's official YouTube channel.

2014 marks the first year of a three-year partnership between the Magic and BayHawks. Orlando controls the BayHawks' basketball operations department but does not own the team outright.
