The Orlando Magic open a tough back-to-back set Tuesday with a visit to the Golden State Warriors.
Tipoff between Orlando and Golden State is set for 10:30 PM Eastern. Fox Sports Florida and ESPN 580 AM will offer live coverage in the Orlando market.
Orlando's last time out: The Magic built a 13-point lead at halftime, and then hung on afterward to defeat the Phoenix Suns, 93-90, on Sunday night. As Eddy Rivera of MagicBasketball.net pointed out, the victory was Orlando's first against a Western team on the road in nearly two years. Tobias Harris led the Magic with 21 points, and Elfrid Payton came off the bench to tally seven points, a team-best nine rebounds, and four assists.
Golden State's last time out: The Dubs finished a perfect roadtrip Sunday with a 104-93 victory against the Detroit Pistons, improving their record to 14-2. Draymond Green scored 20 for Golden State, while All-Star point guard Stephen Curry added 16 with 10 dimes.
The last meeting: The Warriors beat the Magic as part of that five-game trip as Curry tallied 28 points in 24 minutes, leading Golden State to an easy 111-96 victory. Curry matched Orlando's entire team output with six treys, and the Magic converted only 41.4 percent of their shot attempts. Orlando fell despite double-doubles from Harris and Nikola Vucevic word.
