The Orlando Magic will get some help on Saturday night when they host the Atlanta Hawks on the back end of a home-and-home. Coach Jacque Vaughn announced that center Nikola Vucevic, who has missed the last six games with a sprained back, would be back in the starting lineup. Vaughn also said that Vucevic hasn't gotten any 5-on-5 practice in, and will have his minutes watched.
The return of Vucevic means that third year big man Kyle O`Quinn will return to his much more customary bench role. O`Quinn, who missed 15 games of his own earlier this season with a sprained ankle, has given the team good minutes in Vucevic's absence, averaging 12.8 points, 5.7 rebounds and two assists per game.
Prior to his injury, Vucevic was averaging a career high in points, and was one of the top rebounders in the league. In 19 games, all starts, Vucevic has averaged 18.6 points, 11.7 rebounds and 1.1 blockers per game, while shooting 50.7 percent from the field.
