Magic at Nets: Orlando hopes to build on recent success

The Magic enter Sunday's tilt against Brooklyn on a two-game winning streak.

Riding a two-game winning streak, the Orlando Magic visit the Brooklyn Nets in a Sunday matinée.

Tipoff between Orlando and Brooklyn is set for 3:30 PM Eastern. Fox Sports Florida and ESPN 580 AM will offer live coverage in the Orlando market.

Orlando's last time out: The Magic picked up their second consecutive win Friday in overtime against the Minnesota Timberwolves, fighting back from an eight-point deficit to earn an impressive victory at home. Rookie forward Aaron Gordon came up big for the Magic, tallying 12 points and five rebounds in the fourth quarter and overtime in the best performance of his young career. Evan Fournier scored a team-high 20 points, while Tobias Harris finished with a 17 points and 16 rebounds in a strong all-around outing.

Brooklyn's last time out: The Nets creeped back over the .500 mark Friday with a 110-99 win over their crosstown rivals, the New York Knicks. Franchise point guard Deron Williams scored 29 points with six assists, while Brook Lopez chipped in 20 points and nine rebounds of his own.

Last season: Orlando and Brooklyn split the four-game series, with each team winning twice on its home floor. In the most recent meeting, the Nets emerged victorious by a 97-88 count, using a 33-point third quarter to decide the game. Mirza Teletović scored 20 points, with four three-pointers, off Brooklyn's bench to lead all players. Harris, for his part, added 18 points and seven rebounds off the pine for Orlando.
