The Orlando Magic return to Amway Center on Wednesday for one game against the Golden State Warriors, after which contest they'll open a grueling six-game, eight-day roadtrip
Tipoff between Orlando and Golden State is set for 7:00 PM Eastern. Fox Sports Florida and ESPN 580 AM will offer live coverage in the Orlando market.
Orlando's last time out: The Magic sleepwalked Monday as the Cleveland Cavaliers drubbed them by a 106-74 final. LeBron James needed only 31 minutes over three quarters to tally 29 points and 11 assists as the Cavs rolled a shorthanded Orlando club. Nik Vučević turned in a solid outing with 18 points and 13 rebounds, while Victor Oladipo tallied 22 and nine of his own, playing the entire fourth quarter despite the lopsided score.
Golden State's last time out: Behind a lights-out effort from Stephen Curry, the Warriors rallied to defeat the Miami Heat in South Beach, 114-97. Curry scored 40 points on 12-of-19 shooting, with eight three-pointers, as the Warriors limited Miami to 11 fourth-quarter points to take the victory. Klay Thompson, Curry's partner in the backcourt, scored 24. The Dubs held the Heat to 38.8 percent shooting, including 27.5 percent after halftime.
Last season: The Warriors swept the two-game series by an average of 13.5 points per game as Orlando never seriously challenged them. On March 18th, Thompson and Curry combined for 43 points and seven three-pointers as Golden State built its lead to as large as 24; only with the rout officially on did the Magic make the score look moderately respectable.
