The Orlando Magic take the AmericanAirlines Arena court Tuesday night against the Miami Heat for their first game of the 2014/15 preseason campaign.
Tipoff between the in-state rivals is set for 7:30 PM Eastern. ESPN 580 AM will offer radio coverage of the game, which is not available on television.
Orlando's last time out: The Magic's season ended in April with a 101-86 defeat against the Indiana Pacers. Orlando's roster has undergone a dramatic change in the intervening months: 12 of the 19 players it has in camp are new to the team.
Miami's last time out: The Heat opened the post-LeBron James era with a 98-86 loss to the New Orleans Pelicans on Saturday. Rookie guard James Ennis scored 17 off the bench to pace the defending Eastern Conference champs. Free-agent signee Luol Deng shot 2-of-7 for four points in his Miami début.
Notes: Orlando will be without Channing Frye, Victor Oladipo, and Willie Green, who suffered knee injuries in training camp.
