The Orlando Magic host the Washington Wizards on Thursday in their first home game of the 2015/16 season. The Magic have planned several festivities to mark the occasion, namely:

  • A free set of thunderstix for the first 5,000 fans to enter Amway Center
  • National anthem performed by Florida native and The Voice contestant Sisaundra Lewis
  • Special effects accompanying the Magic's introduction
  • A halftime performance by the violinist Lee England Jr.

In addition, a number of entertainments--including face-painting and balloon art--will be available on the concourse level, and a pre-game Fan Fest is set for 5 PM on Church Street.

The doors for Thursday's game between Orlando and Washington will open at 5:30 PM, and the Magic encourage fans to take their seats by 7 PM so as not to miss any of the action.
