Hi everyone! I'll start this off pretty simply: I'm Zach Oliver, I'm 21, and I'm now here to write about the world of Orlando Magic Basketball. I'm going to school for my degree in communications hoping to make a career out of this sports writingthing. I'm coming over from being the editor of Presto in the Paint, FanSided's Magic blog, and I'm very excited for the opportunity that Evan has given me to join the site. You might know me from my antics on Twitter -- @ZachOliverNBA if you don't follow me already -- as well.

I guess you could say I'm your average basketblogger. I enjoy using statistics to help paint a picture, but know that the eye test and what you actually see on the court are important as well. I believe I'm pretty well versed and can do quite a few great things for Orlando Pinstriped Post. I'm ready to dive into it.

If I'm not talking about basketball, you can most likely find me talking about my next sport: golf. I was the crazy person who woke up at random hours last weekend to watch the United States fall, yet again, at the hands of Europe at the Ryder Cup. You could say I'm dedicated.

I also enjoy bow ties thanks to a run in with the one and only Glen Davis last season. That's another story for a whole other post, however. Just know that I'm the Bow Tie Killa, and I will have some sizzling hot takes on bow ties.

That's just a small snippet of me currently, and I can't wait to get to know all of the great readers here and continue to give you guys the best Magic coverage there is.

Keep up with all of our Magic coverage
