Magic at Trail Blazers: Roadtrip continues in Portland

Orlando plays the second game of its five-game Western swing Wednesday.

The Orlando Magic take on the Portland Trail Blazers on Wednesday as their five-game Western roadtrip continues.

Tipoff between Orlando and Portland is set for 10:00 PM Eastern on Fox Sports Florida and ESPN 580 AM in Orlando. The Orlando Pinstriped Post GameThread will appear at 8:00 PM in this StoryStream and on the cover.

Orlando's last time out: The Magic fell behind by as much as 35 points Monday night against the Los Angeles Clippers, with a 16-2 run to open the fourth quarter helping them make the final score of 101-81 look a little more respectable than it ought to have. Victor Oladipo and Maurice Harkless scored 22 apiece for the Magic off the bench.

Portland's last time out: The Blazers dropped their second straight game Tuesday against the Sacramento Kings, 123-119, as the two teams combined for 89 points in the fourth quarter. Damian Lillard, the 2013 NBA Rookie of the Year, scored 41 points with seven rebounds and four assists in the loss, which dropped Portland to 26-9.

In 2012/13: The two teams split the two-game season series, with each team winning at home. On February 10th, the Magic pulled off a 110-104 upset after holding Lillard to four points on 1-of-16 shooting. J.J. Redick scored 22 off the bench to lead Orlando in one of his final games with the team before it dealt him to the Milwaukee Bucks.
