Ronnie Price is not with the Orlando Magic as they open their five-game roadtrip Monday with a visit to the Los Angeles Clippers, reports Josh Robbins of the Orlando Sentinel. Price has a sinus infection, and as John Denton of OrlandoMagic.com notes, he will not join the team on the trip because "[d]octors have advised him not to fly."
In 19 appearances for the Magic, Price has averaged 1.9 points, 1.5 rebounds, and 1.4 assists in 9.8 minutes. The veteran point guard signed with Orlando as a free agent in July.
Without Price, Orlando will continue apace with Jameer Nelson and Victor Oladipo at point guard. The Magic's trip includes tough dates against the Portland Trail Blazers and Denver Nuggets. They return home on January 15th to take on the Chicago Bulls.
