Jacque Vaughn has tweaked the Orlando Magic's starting lineup for their game Tuesday against the Detroit Pistons and their monstrous, tall frontline of Josh Smith, Greg Monroe, and Andre Drummond. As Fox Sports Florida reports, Jason Maxiell will move into Orlando's starting five. That change shifts Tobias Harris to small forward, Arron Afflalo to shooting guard, and Victor Oladipo to the bench, as Josh Robbins of the Orlando Sentinel notes.
Tuesday's start will be Maxiell's first since January 2nd against the Cleveland Cavaliers. He has made just seven appearances since then. In his first season with the Magic, the Chicago native is averaging 3.5 points and 2.8 rebounds per game on 46 percent shooting.
Maxiell spent the first eight seasons of his career with the Pistons. Tuesday's game is his first at the Palace of Auburn Hills since signing a two-year deal with Orlando in July.
