The Orlando Magic, losers of 11 of their last 12 games, return to Amway Center on Wednesday to host the Atlanta Hawks for the final meeting of the season between the two Southeast Division rivals.
Tipoff between Orlando and Atlanta is set for 7:00 PM Eastern on Fox Sports Florida and ESPN 580 AM in Orlando. The Orlando Pinstriped Post GameThread will appear at 5:00 PM in this StoryStream and on the cover.
Orlando's last time out: The Magic shot just 3-of-21 in the third quarter Tuesday night in their 101-90 loss to the Brooklyn Nets, which game wasn't nearly as close as the final score might indicate. Kyle O'Quinn led Orlando with 15 points and eight boards in reserve, while Jameer Nelson scored nine points and dished 10 assists.
Alanta's last time out: The Hawks snapped a two-game losing streak Monday by topping the Miami Heat, 121-114, behind 26 points from Paul Millsap. Atlanta's bench came up big in the victory, tallying 45 points on 15-of-28 shooting.
The last meeting: Seven Magic players scored in double-figures as Orlando upset Atlanta by a 109-102 final on December 29th, which victory marked Orlando's last until it lost 10 straight games from December 31st-January 17th. That win was Orlando's second over Atlanta in the 2013/14 season, assuring it of at least a split of the season series.
