Magic vs. Bobcats: Orlando seeks rare win against slumping Charlotte

The Orlando Magic look to snap their nine-game losing streak Friday against the Charlotte Bobcats.

Tipoff between Orlando and Charlotte is set for 7:00 PM Eastern on Fox Sports Florida and ESPN 580 AM in Orlando. The Orlando Pinstriped Post GameThread will appear at 5:00 PM in this StoryStream and on the cover.

Orlando's last time out: The Magic forced triple-overtime Wednesday against the Chicago Bulls, but fell short, 128-125, to drop their ninth straight game. Victor Oladipo scored 35 points, a career-best, while Jameer Nelson scored 31 with 10 assists in defeat.

Charlotte's last time out: The Bobcats lost to the Philadelphia 76ers on Wednesday, 95-92, for their ninth loss in their last 11 games. Kemba Walker and Al Jefferson combined for 50 of Charlotte's points as the Bobcats shot just 39.8 percent from the floor.

The last meeting: Orlando topped Charlotte, 92-83, on December 11th as seven of its players scored between 10 and 17 points. Charlotte shot 36.9 percent from the floor, with Gerald Henderson leading it in scoring with 12 points on 3-of-14 shooting.
