Orlando's last time out: The Magic dropped their seventh straight game Saturday in the Mile High City against the Denver Nuggets, 120-94, as seven Denver players scored in double-figures. Orlando played the game without Arron Afflalo and Nik Vučević, its leading scorer and rebounder, respectively.
Dallas' last time out: The Mavs picked up their second straight win Saturday by knocking off the New Orleans Pelicans, 110-107, behind a 40-point performance from Dirk Nowitzki. The future Hall-of-Fame power forward shot 10-of-20 from the floor and 15-of-16 from the foul line to lead the Mavs, who also got 26 points on 7-of-13 shooting from Monta Ellis.
The last meeting: On November 16th, the Mavs topped the Magic in Orlando by a 108-100 final; they led by 13 points at halftime before Orlando rallied in the third quarter to make the score more respectable. Ellis scored 19 points to lead six Mavs in double figures. Afflalo led Orlando with 25 points.
