The Orlando Magic announced Friday their telecast schedule for all games in the 2013/14 season, with 81 regular-season games and one preseason game appearing on Fox Sports Florida. In addition, the team announced that it has added former Magic coach Brian Hill to its rotation of in-studio analysts. Hill, Nick Anderson, and Tony Battie will rotate in that capacity throughout the season, joining studio host Paul Kennedy.
David Steele and Jeff Turner will serve as the team's play-by-play and color analysts, respectively. Turner replaces Matt Guokas, another former Magic coach, as the team elected not to renew Guokas' contract for the coming season.
Hill coached the Magic from 1993/94-1996/97 and again from 2005/06-2006/07, patrolling Orlando's sidelines for a total of 499 regular- and post-season games; interestingly, he has coached Anderson, Battie, and Turner.
Hill most recently served as an assistant coach for Lawrence Frank with the Detroit Pistons, who dismissed Frank and his staff in April.
