It appears that Tony Wroten was traded to the 76ers for a 2nd round pick -- basically for next to nothing -- because the Grizzlies wanted a bit of roster/salary flexibility. Wroten was pretty terrible last year (9.3 PER), but he's only 20, on a team controlled contract, and showed flashes of talent to match his great physical frame. If all it would have taken is a 2nd round pick, I wouldn't have minded seeing him brought over to basically compete with Moore for scrap development minutes.
