Initial reports of Ronnie Price's signing with the Orlando Magic indicated that his contract would only last one season. But ShamSports.com, the web's most authoritative NBA salary database, indicates that the veteran point guard inked a two-year agreement with Orlando.

According to ShamSports, Price's contract is for the league's minimum salary in both the 2013/14 and 2014/15 NBA seasons. However, the second season is fully unguaranteed. Price will only receive his $1.3 million salary if he's still on the team after July 26th, 2014. In this regard, the contract that Price signed with Orlando is similar to the one Jason Maxiell signed earlier in July, though Maxiell's guarantee date is July 10th, 2014.

Since going undrafted out of Utah Valley State, Price has played eight NBA seasons with four teams. In 39 appearances for the Portland Trail Blazers in 2012/13, he averaged 2.7 points, 1.1 rebounds, and 1.9 assists in 13.9 minutes.
