The Orlando Magic announced Monday that Magic Drive Time will return to 740 The Game for the 2013/14 season, Orlando's 25th in the NBA. The first episode of the new season, the third in the program's history, is set to air on October 7th.
Hosted primarily by Dante Marchitelli and occasionally by Jake Chapman, Magic Drive Time airs Monday through Friday from 5:30-6 PM during the NBA season. Magic Drive Time features interviews with Magic personalities, including coach Jacque Vaughn and general manager Rob Hennigan, as well as players.
The forthcoming season will be Marchitelli's 15th with the Magic, whom he joined in 1998 as an intern. In addition to his Magic Drive Time duties, Marchitelli serves as the team's radio manager, radio sideline reporter, television pregame host, and television sideline reporter.
