Maryland center Alex Len beat out point guards CJ McCollum and Michael Carter-Williams for the seventh spot on Orlando Pinstriped Post Community Draft Board.
We haven't covered much of Len, so here's some background: he's a true 7-footer who has even been looked at as a possible no. 1 overall pick by the Cleveland Cavaliers. He has a polished offensive game and would immediately serve as a backup to Nikola Vucevic at center in Orlando.
This is what the OPP community draft board now looks like:
Conventional wisdom would say that the eighth spot will be a close battle between Lehigh's McCollum and Syracuse's Carter-Williams, but nothing on the draft board is set and stone as we've seen a couple surprises so far in the series.
Keep in mind that this isn't a mock draft. You're voting for who you'd like the Magic to select given the seven aforementioned players are already off the board.
Be sure to explain your choice in the comments and lobby for who you'd like to see in the next round of voting. This poll will end on Sunday at 6 AM.
