NBA Draft 2013: Magic host workout for prospects from Florida schools, according to report

A trio of prospects from Florida colleges worked out for Orlando on Wednesday.

The Orlando Magic continued their pre-Draft preparations on Wednesday with a group workout involving three senior prospects from Florida schools, reports Josh Robbins of the Orlando Sentinel. The players who attended Wednesday's workout are UCF power forward Keith Clanton, Florida power forward Erik Murphy, and Florida State shooting guard Michael Snaer.

Clanton, listed at 6-foot-9, ranked second on the Knights in scoring in his senior season, posting 14.8 points per game. He also led the team with 8.5 rebounds and two blocks.

Murphy, an inside-out threat, averaged 12.2 points and 5.5 rebounds per game and led the Gators with two three-pointers per game, shooting 45.3 percent from beyond the arc.

A 6-foot-5 marksman, Snaer shot 38.4 percent from deep as a senior and averaged 14.8 points per game to lead the Seminoles. He added 4.5 rebounds and two assists per game as well.

Kenny Boynton, a 6-foot-2 guard and the Gators' third-leading scorer, will work out for the Magic on Thursday.

Orlando owns the second and 51st overall picks in the 2013 NBA Draft, which is scheduled for June 27th.
