Orlando Magic schedule for week 24

The season is nearing a merciful end for the Magic, as they play two of their remaining four games this week.

Jeff Hanisch-USA TODAY Sports

The Orlando Magic enter the season's second-to-last week with a 19-59 record, which is just 1/2 game ahead of the Charlotte Bobcats for the worst record in the NBA.

Orlando needs to win at least one of its remaining three home games to avoid tying a dubious franchise record. The Magic are currently 11-27 at home. Their worst home record for a season was set in the 2003-04 season, when the Magic finished 11-30. If the Magic lose their three remaining home games, they will tie the franchise mark for the worst home record in a season.

Here's the Magic schedule for this week:

Wednesday, April 10th: Magic vs. Milwaukee Bucks, 7 PM Eastern, Fox Sports Florida

Former Magic fan favorite J.J. Redick makes his return to Orlando with the Bucks. Redick is not doing as well shooting-wise as he was with Orlando. As a Buck, Redick is averaging 12.2 points per game on 42.4 percent shooting, including 33.6 percent on 3-pointers, compared to 15.1 points per game on 45 percent shooting and 39 percent on 3s with the Magic. Milwaukee has clinched a playoff berth in the East with a 37-39 record, but has lost 7 of their last 10 games. The Bucks are 2-0 against the Magic.

Saturday, April 13th: Magic vs. Boston Celtics, 7 PM Eastern, Fox Sports Florida

There will likely be as many Celtics' fans as Magic fans at the Amway Center for this matchup, as the Celtics are the seventh seed in the East with a 39-37 record, and need to win to stay ahead of Milwaukee to avoid a first-round playoff series with Miami. The Celtics are 2-0 against the Magic.
