The Orlando Magic cap the home portion of their 2012/13 season on Monday night against the Chicago Bulls. To thank fans for their support throughout the season, the Magic have designated Monday as Fan Appreciation Night. Here's what that entails.
For one, the first 7500 fans at Amway Center will receive an Orlando Magic Fan Clapper courtesy of Florida Hospital. Retail purchases will have a 40 percent discount throughout the game. Concession stands will offer a hot dog and soda combo meal for $5. Further, the game program itself will be a special edition filled with photos from the team's Instagram account, as well as photos that fans submitted through MagicGram.
In addition, the team will honor rookie center Kyle O`Quinn as its Hustle Player of the Year. Fourteen fans and community partners will receive an authentic, autographed Magic jersey, and one fan will shoot from halfcourt to win a Kia Optima.
Team co-captain Jameer Nelson, who in December became Orlando's all-time leader in assists, will address fans prior to tipoff.
Monday's game is set to tip off at 7 PM, and the doors open at 5:30.
