Orlando's last time out: The Magic never led and trailed by as many as 33 points in Sunday's blowout loss against the Memphis Grizzlies. Three Orlando players scored 12 points apiece, while Tayshaun Prince led all players with 14 for Memphis. The Grizzlies picked apart the Magic's defense with a precise attack, shooting 53 percent from the field, 45.8 percent from three-point range, and by tallying assists on 31 of their 44 baskets.
New Orleans' last time out: The Hornets opened their March schedule with a 100-95 win against the Detroit Pistons on Friday. Point guard Greivis Vásquez scored a team-best 25 points, while Eric Gordon added 21 in just 30 minutes. Former Magic forward Ryan Anderson tallied 19 points and 13 boards in the win, which ended a two-game losing streak.

The last meeting: New Orleans eked out a 97-94 win against Orlando on December 26th, getting a season-high 29 points from Robin Lopez on just 10 shot attempts. Vásquez scored 27 of his own as Orlando struggled to contain either player in the pick-and-roll. Magic point guard Jameer Nelson, who has missed six straight games and may not play Monday, had 28 points in that loss.
