Jameer Nelson will miss the Orlando Magic's game Saturday against the Atlanta Hawks due to a sprained right ankle, according to Josh Robbins of the Orlando Sentinel. Nelson initially sprained that ankle in the first quarter of Friday's win against the Washington Wizards and he did not return to the game. Beno Udrih and E`Twaun Moore filled in at point guard and combined for 25 points, 14 assists, and just two turnovers off the bench.
It's not clear which of Udrih or Moore will start on Saturday. Udrih has not started a game since April 11th, 2011, when he was a member of the Sacramento Kings, but owns 234 starts in 619 career games.
Moore has made 18 starts, many of them at point guard, for Orlando in 2012/13. In his starts, he's posted 11.7 points, 3.6 rebounds, and 5.3 assists on 39.4 percent shooting from the field and 38.9 percent shooting from three-point range.
