Jameer Nelson sprained his right ankle in the first quarter of the Orlando Magic's game against the Washington Wizards, a team spokesperson said, and he is doubtful to return. The team has yet to determine his status for Saturday's game against the Atlanta Hawks.

Nelson tallied two points, three rebounds, and three assists in eight minutes before leaving at the 3:41 mark of the first quarter. Beno Udrih replaced him and filled in with two points and three assists in his 12:26 of floor time. E'Twaun Moore, who has played primarily at shooting guard since the Magic acquired Udrih, also logged some minutes at point guard.

Nelson is averaging 14.9 points, 3.7 rebounds, 7.5 assists, and 1.3 steals per game. Injuries have caused him to miss 16 games so far in 2012/13.
