The Orlando Magic lost rookie power forward Andrew Nicholson to a left ankle sprain at the 6:13 mark of the first quarter in Monday's game against the Miami Heat after logging just two minutes. He is doubtful to return to the game.

Nicholson's injury leaves the Magic with eight active players for Monday.

It appears that Maurice Harkless' minutes will see an uptick as a result of Nicholson's injury. The rookie played the entire half and is on pace to play the entire game.

On the other hand, Miami, too, is shorthanded without All-Star shooting guard Dwyane Wade, who missed his second consecutive game.

Nicholson is averaging 8.2 points and 3.5 rebounds per game, shooting 53.5 percent. He's the backup to Tobias Harris.
