The Orlando Magic will wear their El Magic uniforms for three games in March, the team announced Friday, as part of the NBA's annual Noche Latina celebration. Orlando will sport the black alternates, which have an El Magic wordmark, for their games against the Indiana Pacers on March 8th, the Oklahoma City Thunder on March 22nd, and the Miami Heat on March 25th.
In addition, the team announced that it will refurbish a basketball court at Pinar Elementary on Saturday. The basketball facilities there date to 1976. The Magic have also dubbed March 8th as Noche Latina, and will highlight Latin culture through "a variety of activities" at Amway Center throughout the night. One of those activities is a Latin-themed halftime performance by the Magic Dancers.
Fans will be able to purchase the Magic's Noche Latina jerseys, as well as shooting shirts and lapel pins, online at OrlandoMagicShop.com.
"We value our entire Orlando Magic fan base," Magic CEO Alex Martins said in a statement. "Noche Latina is an opportunity for the Magic to show our appreciation to the Latin segment of our fan base for their support and dedication."
