The Orlando Magic announced good news Wednesday about injuries to Arron Afflalo and J.J. Redick, their two leading scorers, but neither will be available for Wednesday's game against the L.A. Clippers, according to Josh Robbins of the Orlando Sentinel.
An MRI on Tuesday showed no structural damage to Redick's right shoulder, which he injured in Saturday's loss to the Milwaukee Bucks. Meanwhile, Afflalo is making progress from a strained left calf which has caused him to miss Orlando's last five games, and he should be ready to play Friday when Orlando visits the Cleveland Cavaliers, says Robbins.
The pair were instrumental in the Magic's upset win against the Clippers on January 12th. Afflalo tied a season-high with 30 points, while Redick scored 21 off the bench and made three key plays in the final minute to preserve the win for the Magic.
