In the final minutes before the NBA trading deadline, the Orlando Magic are working on a three-team trade which would involve shooting guard J.J. Redick, reports Josh Robbins of the Orlando Sentinel. One of the other teams would be the Milwaukee Bucks, according to Robbins. The trade may not happen at all, but Robbins says "it seems like one last-ditch effort" to unload Redick before the deadline.

Redick is in the final year of a three-year contract he signed with the Chicago Bulls in 2010, and which Orlando matched, as was its right in restricted free agency. He is averaging a career-best 15.1 points, 2.4 rebounds, and 4.4 assists in 2012/13.

The NBA trade deadline is Thursday at 3 PM Eastern.
