The San Antonio Spurs are the latest team to register an interest in Orlando Magic shooting guard J.J. Redick, Marc Stein of ESPN.com reported early Thursday morning. San Antonio joins a list of suitors for Redick which may include the Indiana Pacers, Chicago Bulls, and New York Knicks.
Despite the risk of losing Redick as a free agent in July, Orlando appears willing to keep the Duke product past the trading deadline; no recent reports indicate the Magic would trade him simply for the sake of trading him.
The price Orlando's asking for its second-leading scorer is a first-round draft choice.
The NBA trade deadline is Thursday at 3 PM Eastern.
