The Orlando Magic begin a two-game roadtrip Wednesday night in the Lone Star State as they visit the Dallas Mavericks. Tipoff is set for 8:30 PM Eastern on Fox Sports Florida in the Orlando market. The Orlando Pinstriped Post GameThread will appear at 6:30 PM in this StoryStream and on the cover.
Orlando's last time out: The Magic fell behind by 22 to the league-worst Charlotte Bobcats on Tuesday, only to rally in the fourth quarter and come up short anyway. A halftime address by Magic co-captain Jameer Nelson and veteran two-guard Arron Afflalo inspired Orlando to work harder defensively, and the Magic got to within two points in the fourth quarter before Charlotte pulled away. Kemba Walker and Gerald Henderson, the Bobcats' starting backcourt, scored 24 points apiece.
Dallas' last time out: Dallas topped the Sacramento Kings, 123-100, in its last game before the All-Star Break. Former Orlando swingman Vince Carter scored 26 points off the bench and hit six three-pointers in the win.

The last meeting: The Mavs held off a fourth-quarter Magic run in Orlando on January 20th to win, 111-106, behind 20 points from Shawn Marion. Seven Dallas players scored in double-figures in the victory, while Orlando's Glen Davis had a game-high 24 points.
