The Orlando Magic are willing to trade J.J. Redick to the Milwaukee Bucks for Luc Richard Mbah a Moute and a future first-round draft pick, reports Ken Berger, but the Bucks may "only" do that trade if they find a way to unload or Monta Ellis. The CBSSports.com scribe cites "multiple league sources" in that report.
Mbah a Moute, a 26-year-old forward, is renowned for his defense as he often draws the assignment of covering the league's elite scorers. Berger also notes that the Monteverde Academy product is in demand around the league due to his contract, which declines in value from $4.6 million in 2013/14 to $4.4 million in 2014/15.
Berger's report is consistent with others, which have noted that Orlando wants a first-round pick in any Redick deal, and that Milwaukee has a "major" interest in Redick contingent upon its ability to trade Ellis in order to free up a starting role and playing time for the Duke product.
The trade deadline is Thursday at 3 PM Eastern.
