Watch: Magic's viral "Harlem Shake" video, starring Stuff

The Magic filmed and released their own Harlem Shake video on Wednesday night.

The Orlando Magic filmed their own "Harlem Shake" video in Wednesday's loss to the Atlanta Hawks, allowing some of the 17,649 fans in attendance to get in on the dance craze.

Stuff, the Magic's mascot, posted the video, which is embedded above, to his YouTube channel late Wednesday night. Many of the early comments on the video are from fans who appeared in it.

Though inspired--props to the Magic Dancers flanking Stuff for really getting down--Orlando's "Harlem Shake" video doesn't quite measure up to the Dallas Mavericks' entry, which features veterans like Vince Carter and Dirk Nowitzki making fools of themselves in silly costumes. The Magic's video would have benefitted from the presence of at least one player.

The musician Baauer released "Harlem Shake" as a single in 2012. The song has gained popularity on the internet in recent weeks as its fans have posted brief videos, some of them rather elaborate, of themselves dancing to it. The University of Georgia's underwater version might be my favorite.
