The Orlando Magic continue their long roadtrip Friday with a visit to Madison Square Garden to take on the New York Knicks.

Tipoff between Orlando and New York is set for 7:30 PM Eastern on Fox Sports Florida and ESPN 580 AM in Orlando. The Orlando Pinstriped Post GameThread will appear at 5:30 PM in this StoryStream and on the cover.

Orlando's last time out: The Magic forced double-overtime in the City of Brotherly Love on Tuesday, but came up one point shy of defeating the Philadelphia 76ers, 126-125. Victor Oladipo recorded the first triple-double of his young career in the loss, while Arron Afflalo (43 points) and Glen Davis (33) set new career-bests in scoring.

New York's last time out: The Knicks ended their nine-game losing streak in emphatic fashion Thursday, smashing their crosstown rival Brooklyn Nets by a 113-83 final. Carmelo Anthony led six Knicks in double-figure scoring with 19 points, and Iman Shumpert drilled five three-pointers as New York shot a blistering 59.3 percent from beyond the arc.

In 2012/13: The Knicks swept the four-game season series in 2012/13, winning each game by an average of 11.5 points. Orlando was so shorthanded in the last meeting between the teams that it started Tobias Harris at center and Maurice Harkless at power forward. The pair combined for 25 points, but Anthony scored 21 for New York and J.R. Smith added 22 off the Knicks' bench as the hosts cruised to a 106-94 victory.
