Orlando Magic center Nik Vučević won't play Tuesday against the Philadelphia 76ers, reports John Denton of OrlandoMagic.com. The third-year pro tripped over a cameraman during Orlando's loss on Monday to the Washington Wizards.
According to Danielle Maslany, also of OrlandoMagic.com, Orlando coach Jacque Vaughn has tabbed Jason Maxiell to start at center in Vučević's place.
Vučević is averaging 14.7 points and 10.9 rebounds per game in his second season as the Magic's starting center. In four career games against Philadelphia, his former team, the seven-footer has averaged 14 points and 16.5 rebounds on 52.1 percent shooting.
Maxiell has made 13 appearances for the Magic since signing as a free agent in July. In 10 starts, he's averaged 5.6 points and 3.4 rebounds in 21.1 minutes.
Tipoff between Orlando and Philadelphia is scheduled for 7 PM Eastern on Fox Sports Florida and ESPN 580 AM.
