The Orlando Magic announced Thursday that they'll honor Pat Williams and Jim Hewitt during Friday's game against the San Antonio Spurs. The on-court ceremony is part of Legends Nights, which the team devised to celebrate key figures in its 25-year history. The team previously honored Tracy McGrady and Nick Anderson via the Legends Nights program.

The first 2500 fans in attendance Friday will receive a commemorative photograph, measuring eight by 10 inches, of Williams and Hewitt at the press conference announcing the NBA's expansion to Orlando. The pair will join David Steele and Jeff Turner on the Fox Sports Florida telecast for a portion of the game. Tipoff against the Spurs is set for 7 PM.

Hewitt recruited Williams, currently the Magic's senior vice president, to aid him in his effort to bring the NBA to Orlando. Williams resigned his post as the Philadelphia 76ers' general manager to take on the task.
